This recipe is to substitute eggs in a recipe. I find that it works best in cookies and biscuits and it doesn’t seem to effect flavour at all. I am yet to try in cake recipes. I found it here.
Egg Replacer
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 3 tablespoons water
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix up well until frothy. Then simply use in your recipe.
This is equal to two eggs in a recipe. I have halved it with no problems.
